Forget Frankenstein and wicked witches. One savvy crowd looked more like James Bond this Halloween.

Skyfall, the newest addition to the 007 franchise, was screened on Wednesday night at a VIP premiere in Central's Palace IFC Cinema, hosted by luxury watchmaker Omega.

One of the best-dressed and least scary Halloween parties in town, it attracted celebrities including filmmaker Alfred Cheung kin-ting, model Qiqi Yam and socialite couples Jeffrey and Margaret Yau, Candice and Leonard Chao, and Karson Choi Ka-tsan and his model girlfriend, Irene Wang Yuen-yuen.

Guests stopped by at The French Window restaurant for pre-screening drinks and checked out watches worn by characters in the movie, plus a special-edition watch made in tribute to Skyfall.

Bartenders shook up Bond's favourite martinis, while DJ Antwone provided the music. Guests lined up at a photo booth with a 007-themed backdrop for souvenir flick books.

Veteran music producer Mark Lui Chung-tak created a short video collage of scenes and music from previous James Bond movies, which was shown before the premiere.
