What I’m listening to: I’ve recently fallen in love with Nina Simone – she seems so timeless. Her voice and the rhythms are totally captivating. My other favourites include Ed Sheeran when relaxing at night and Calvin Harris to exercise to.

What I’m reading: China’s Super Consumers: What 1 Billion Want and How to Sell it to Them, by Savio Chan and Michael Zakkour. This is a fascinating and detailed insight into the Chinese consumer market.

What I’m watching: I’ve recently started watching the gripping new Marco Polo series and it’s is gripping. Also The Theory of Everything deserves an Academy Award for best actor in my opinion. [Eddie Redmayne]  is superb.

What artists I’m following: I’ve recently become fascinated by the work of Spanish French artist Christian Gaillard. He is a Spanish artist who specialises in painting Matadors matadors bull-fighting. The use of colour and detail is exceptional and the scale of the work is unbelievable.
