- Walters arrived in Hong Kong in 1969 and co-founded Alisan Fine Arts gallery, a pioneering venture to promote Chinese modern artists from around the world
- In her later role as an art consultant, she became one of the first to place Hong Kong art with large, multinational companies. Walters died in Paris aged 76
