Favourite sounds, shows and sites of Mother's Choice CEO Alia Eyres

Daft Punk, Modern Family and a J. K. Rowling charity catch the attention of the Hong Kong charity chief.

What I’m listening to: every night my kids beg me to play their favourite songs so we can dance together when I get home from work. Their current favourites are Get Lucky by Daft Punk and Happy by Pharrell Williams.

What I’m reading: with my book club I’m reading Being Mortal by Atul Gawande, a fascinating read about how the medical profession handles death and ageing, and Daring Greatly by Brené Brown, which is giving me the courage to be more authentic and vulnerable.

What I’m watching: Modern Family always makes me laugh. I’m also enjoying Madam Secretary.

What artists I’m following: two Chinese contemporary artists whose work I love are Zhu Yiyong and Xue Song.

Where I’m surfing: right now I’m inspired by the website of Lumos – it’s a charity founded by J.K. Rowling that helps millions of children around the world in institutions regain their right to a family.
