Sites and sounds keeping Coney Ko, jewellery designer, amused

Ko listens to jazz while she's working at PMQ, is reading Antonia Fraser, loves Pedro Almodovar and Yoshitomo Nara, and surfs websites that feed her holiday dreams

I'm a jazz lover and listen to jazz all day while working in my studio at PMQ. I like a range of classic, fusion and vocal jazz, and blues. My all-time favourite vocal jazz singers are Ella Fitzgerald, Danielle Darrieux, Stacey Kent, Diana Krall, Norah Jones and Joanna Wang. The only exception is on rainy days; then I play classical music, especially violin concertos.

the interesting, sad and engaging by Antonia Fraser. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys history and biographies.

I'm very picky about movies. However, I'm never disappointed by anything by Pedro Almodóvar. The most recent one I saw, , was co-produced by Almodóvar and directed by Damián Szifron. It's a wickedly funny black comedy and the best movie I've seen this year.

Yoshitomo Nara is my long-time favourite. I love his heartfelt, contemporary work, which is as touching as poetry.

I spend a lot of time on the Time Out and Tripadvisor websites. They're the go-to resources when planning a holiday or just dreaming about one.
