While florals were a big story last season, designers have been getting more serious with some cool geometry for their autumn collections. Miuccia Prada was the first to usher in the trend with her dizzy retro prints in colours such as purple, orange and red. Jonathan Saunders went for colourful squares while Louis Vuitton coats came with embellishments in all sorts of geometric shapes. While this look definitely has a cool, mod factor (and will look fantastic if worn right) wearing some styles from head-to-toe can border on clownish. To stay on the safe side, choose just one item whether it's a jacket or handbag.
