Korean hip-hop artist B.I has released the track Got It Like That in collaboration with American artists Destiny Rogers and Tyla Yaweh. Got It Like That precedes the release of an upcoming album from the singer, born Kim Han-bin, that is set to arrive on June 1. The all-English track is B.I’s latest since leaving K-pop band iKon in 2019, and his first collaborative project to target a global market. It follows the March release of his three-song Midnight Blue album, and his appearance on Epik High’s most recent album in January. The 24-year-old rapper-songwriter left iKon after he was accused of illegal drug use. After parting the ways with the group and his former management company YG Entertainment, B.I began working with South Korean media brand IOK Company, where he is an executive director. He also heads 131 Label, of which he is currently the only performing artist. Before the release of Got It Like That, B.I shared a behind-the-scenes look at the song’s recording process on his Instagram account. Midnight Blue is all about Hanbin acknowledging his pain and opening up about it. Got It Like That is Hanbin moving forward and starting a new chapter in his life and career. #GotItLikeThatWithBI #비아이_솔로싱글_가릿라잌댓 pic.twitter.com/rvSfaXEy7P — Gale ¹³¹ (@sleeplessaqua) May 14, 2021 View this post on Instagram A post shared by B.I (@shxxbi131)
