South Korean actor and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha star Kim Seon-ho apologised publicly on Wednesday after allegations of past romantic abuses were linked to him.
“I sincerely apologise for the belated statement,” Kim wrote, according to Korean pop culture outlet Soompi.
“I was seeing her with good emotions. In that process, I hurt her due to my carelessness and inconsiderate actions. I wanted to meet and apologise to her directly, but I am not able to properly convey the apology now and am waiting for that time to come. For now, I would like to genuinely apologise to her through this statement.”

The allegations were posted online the day after Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, which also stars Shin Min-a, ended on Sunday night.
After the rumour was linked to Kim, advertisers in the country began pulling endorsement deals with the star. Kim, as well as Shin and other cast members, also stopped press events promoting the finale of Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.
