Renowned American trumpeter and composer Wynton Marsalis was recently in China for a series of performances before an appreciative crowd.

He says the universal language of jazz can help bridge the divide in today’s complex world. “I’m a part of a legacy. You know, my father [pianist Ellis Marsalis], he’s passed away, but I try to live up to what he did and continue things, but there’s so many people on Earth and the only thing constant is change”, says the nine-time Grammy-winning artist.
