Horse show spectacular with music and dance to bring ‘magical’ equine energy to Hong Kong
Blending music and equestrian arts, Cavalluna – Gate to the Otherworld will gallop into Kai Tak Arena in September for the Year of the Horse

On September 3, a Cathay Pacific jet holding a curious assortment of four-legged passengers will touch down in Hong Kong. The sound of clomping hooves will replace suitcase wheels as the guests descend from the belly of the plane. Fifty-four horses will sniff the air of new pastures, halfway around the world from their home.
These are no ordinary steeds but stars of the upcoming production Cavalluna – Gate to the Otherworld, which combines advanced equestrian disciplines with music, dance and other artistic elements.
Written, composed and directed by Klaus Hillebrecht and produced by Andreas Eckert, Gate to the Otherworld is an immersive experience and a celebration of the bond between horse and rider.

“It is an adventurous, magical movie, so to speak, with horses, and the story we are telling is about coming together and unity,” says Johannes Mock-O’Hara, CEO of Apassionata World, the Berlin-based company behind the production.
