While the British former boy-band heart throb is a fan of the suit, his outfits are far from conservative.

Whether he’s on a world tour or out and about in London, he tends to favour sharp suits in an array of colourful patterns and prints.

His adventurous style choices became clear when Styles was one of the first celebrities to fully embrace the wild aesthetic of Gucci’s Alessandro Michele, who has been dressing him for a few years now.

The Hawaii-born, half-Filipino, half-Puerto-Rican R&B musician definitely has a thing for bling – and for hats, which have become part of his signature look, along with Aloha shirts and lots of gold chains.

A fan of more-is-more labels such as Dolce & Gabbana and Saint Laurent, Mars is fond of name-dropping his favourite designers in his catchy tunes. Versace on the Floor, one of his most recent hits, pays homage to the extravagant Italian brand, which has dressed Mars in multiple occasions.

While he tends to go for sporty get-ups and bomber jackets, he also cleans up nicely in a tailored suit, as long as it’s shiny and sparkly.
