It was a homecoming of sorts for the cast of Crazy Rich Asians as they descended upon Singapore for the Asia premiere of the romantic comedy based on Kevin Kwan’s bestselling novel, set in the city state.

The film, which grossed US$34 million in its opening week at the US box office, is the first Hollywood production with an all-Asian cast in more than 25 years.
