There are many good products on the market, and some are designed to make your life easier. Whether it’s an all-in-one concept or a lifesaver that can be used in different ways, these five beauty products work extra hard to help you achieve that effortless glamour.

Benefit Cosmetics Brow Contour Pro (HK$320 at Benefit)
 
The Brow Contour Pro has two brow shades (one darker and one lighter for the ends and heads of your brows respectively), a definer shade to clean up the edges, and a highlight shade to lift up the eye area. This is the perfect on-the-go tool: you can literally draw it on, lightly tap to blend it if necessary, and you’re good to go.
 
Clarin’s 4 Colour All-in-One Pen (HK$280 at Clarins)
The same concept as the Benefit Brow Contour Pro, but meant for more than just the brows. This handy pen has three eyeliner shades and a lip liner shade. So whether you want to go barely there with a brow liner, or spice things up with a forest green one, the Clarin’s 4 Colour All-in-One Pen is all you need. The creamy consistency of the liners makes them easy to apply, and in a pinch, the lip liner shade can also double as a cheek colour.

Mac Liquid Lipcolour (HK195 at Mac)
Liquid lipsticks aren’t new to the market, but many deem them “tricky” because, especially with the bolder colours, they look best applied with a precise hand. Also, once most liquid lipstick formulas are set, they're not going to budge, which can be intimidating. However, a liquid lipstick can be very versatile and anyone can use it.
If your liquid lipstick is too opaque you can add a pea-sized dollop of pawpaw balm or Vaseline, mix well and wear it as a gloss.
Alternatively, try ombre lips, which are a great transition to help you get used to a new colour. Dab a tiny bit of the liquid lipstick on the centre of your lips and blend it out towards the edges with your finger. Throw a clear gloss on top, or apply a lipstick in a lighter but complementary shade to the edge of your lips and blend the two together for a more brazen look.
Feeling extra bold? Using an angled brush or your finest eyeliner brush, apply the liquid lipstick as eyeliner. Just remember to prime and powder your lids to keep the oils at bay, and keep the rest of your look fairly minimal.

With a liquid highlighter, your options are endless. Mix a little into your moisturiser, tinted moisturiser, or foundation for an all-over glow, or dab it onto the high points of your face for a more refined look.
Alternatively, you can layer it under your favourite blush, or even mix it with your go-to lip colour for a subtle hint of glow from within that people will mistake for post-holiday radiance.

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick (HK$440 at Bobbi Brown)
An oldie but a goodie, this Bobbi Brown cult favourite has been around for a long time and with good reason. Its buttery formula blends like a dream and stays on all day, and has that perfect wow factor when it catches the light.
Swirl your brush in all the colours for a beautiful glow on your cheeks or cheekbones, use just your one, favourite shade, or use the shades individually or in combination on your eyes. Just because a product is marketed for your cheeks doesn’t mean it is only for your cheeks.
Also, creating cohesion between your cheek and eye look is the easiest way to look polished and put-together.
