If you’re looking for something more memorable to give your loved ones, opt for one of these fun fashion experiences.

1. Vogue 100 Membership

The fashion bible is offering its devoted fans what is arguably the priciest magazine subscription ever. This super-exclusive membership programme will set you back US$100,000 and give you access to a series of offerings, including advice from editors, previews of exclusive content and invitations to fashion-week events attended by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

2. A feng shui “fashion” reading by master Thierry Chow

The principles of feng shui don’t just apply to living spaces but to our wardrobes as well. Hong Kong master Thierry Chow Yik- tung offers one-hour readings that not only determine your fortune for the year ahead, but also advise customers on how to enhance overall energy and luck by making simple wardrobe changes. Who says you can’t dress your way to success?

3. The Bespoke Shoe Experience with Gianvito Rossi

Always dreamed of being Cinderella for the day? Carrie Bradshaw wannabes will go head over heels (pardon the pun) for this shoe lovers’ gift from e-commerce retailer Net-a-Porter. Recipients will travel to the Milanese home of famed shoe designer Gianvito Rossi, where the man himself will create a bespoke design especially for you.

Only three packages are available globally and travel and transfers are not included.

4. Rosewood Hong Kong experience

Rosewood Hong Kong will finally open its doors next year and is offering guests a curated fashion experience that spans the style capitals of Hong Kong and Paris. Guests will visit the atelier of Hong Kong fashion designer Anais Mak of Jourden to create a bespoke piece of apparel, before flying to Paris to attend the designer’s fashion show, complete with backstage access.

5. A spa experience for body, mind and spirit

Most spa treatments work on the body from the outside but this holistic half-day experience makes use of different healing modalities to tap into your mental and spiritual side.

Tibetan singing bowls are used in the Four Seasons spa to reduce stress and balance the body’s energy.

It starts with a sage smudging, a traditional practice that cleanses the body of negative energy. Guests then soak in a marigold bath while listening to the soothing vibrations emitted from Tibetan singing bowls (they are said to reduce stress and balance the body’s energy). The experience finishes with a body massage featuring crystal and healing touch therapy, followed by a hearty vegan lunch.

6. Create your own bespoke eyewear

Eyewear brand Khromis is one of the first in Hong Kong to offer bespoke eyewear at its flagship boutique in Sheung Wan. The consultation lasts around an hour, and customers work with a dedicated expert who takes detailed measurements before allowing you to select everything from the shape and material to the temple design, type of lens – sunglasses are an option – and colour (every pair is finished with your initials stamped on the frame arm).

Your bespoke Khromis eyewear carries your initials, and you get to select shape, material, and colour.

The order is then sent off to Japan, where it made by hand over an eight to 10-week period. Customers will then choose from two frames before making their final selection.

HK$5,000 to HK$6,000 at Khromis Hong Kong, 1 Tai Ping Shan St, Sheung Wan, tel: 2772 2373. khromis.com
