As the Covid-19 coronavirus continues to spread throughout the world, shutting down countries and forcing people to reconsider just about every aspect of their lives, working from home is, for many, going to be the new normal for a period of time.

It can take some adjusting to. Including what you wear.

Barbara Pachter, author of The Essentials of Business Etiquette and a long-time worker-from-home, told The New York Times: “In the beginning, you should get dressed as if you were going into an office. It will help give some structure to your day, and you can change your home dress code later, as you adjust to your new working arrangement.”

Some inspiration can be found in a new Instagram account dedicated to sharing “wfhfits” (work from home fits or outfits), @wfhfits, which provides a moment of inspiration, camaraderie and levity amid the unending coronavirus bad news.

For Stephanie, 40 a Hong Kong-based senior executive at a fashion retailer, working for an international company means she often works from home (and is senior enough to choose to do so).
