Based on the bestselling novel of the same title by Sarah Pinborough, psychological thriller Behind Her Eyes is Netflix’s latest smash hit.
The six-episode series centres around Louise, a single mother, who begins an affair with her psychiatrist boss and befriends his wife, Adele, played by Eve Hewson.
The 29-year-old New York-based Irish actress has had a few supporting roles here and there, but her turn as a troubled young wife in Behind Her Eyes is set to turn her into a household name in Hollywood and beyond.
How 2020 became the year of Netflix-inspired fashion
A self-professed fan of French label Chanel, Hewson has recently upped her at-home fashion game with a series of outfits posted on her Instagram feed, including a white eyelet dress from luxury label Loewe reminiscent of the ethereal dresses and nightgowns that her character Adele wears in the show.
While Newson hasn’t been on a red carpet in a while, she definitely knows how to look fabulous, as she’s shown in another Instagram post to celebrate the New Year, in which she was clad in a sparkly long-sleeved red dress paired with silver sandals while munching on a bag of Cheetos.
According to her Instagram account, Newson has started working with top celebrity stylist Kate Young, who also styles Selena Gomez, Margot Robbie, Dakota Johnson and more A-listers, which means Newson’s style journey is going to get even better, both on Instagram and on the red carpet once the pandemic is over.
