Jamie Chung’s SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Awards look made more than just a fashion statement.
The Lovecraft Country actress accompanied her stunning off-the-shoulder red Oscar de la Renta dress with a matching handbag that read “Stop Asian Hate”, according to photos she posted on Instagram ahead of the show on Sunday.
“In some Asian cultures, the colour red symbolises joy, luck and happiness,” Chung, 37, wrote. “In Korean culture it symbolises creation, passion and power.”
