Watch out for fake K-beauty products – made-in-China copycat items are flooding Southeast Asia

  • Counterfeit product manufacturers copy a brand’s image or design and sell them at lower prices. Chinese brokers register the trademarks of the copied products
  • Korean companies complain there is little they can do to stop the fakes. Among those affected are Clio, maker of Eye Palette and Kill Cover, and Holika Holika
