Though many events in December have been cancelled or postponed following the Tai Po fire tragedy, some are still going forward as planned as the city slowly heals.

Whether it is a fundraising vintage thrifting event, the return of everyone’s favourite Christmas ballet or a poolside Pilates session, these events offer fun and connection.

Here are five of the best things to do in Hong Kong this weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday from 1pm-6pm, Top Swop Club will host their final event of the year, with all ticket proceeds directed to the Hong Kong Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund in response to the Tai Po fire. Tickets can be bought online for HK$85, while admission at the door will be HK$100.

Featuring a dedicated festive rack, the event encourages swappers to bring Christmas jumpers, party-season pieces and New Year’s Eve outfits with a bit of sparkle alongside their usual quality items.
