Get down with House of Vans Asia Tour finale at Pier 4

A three-day celebration of music, art, skateboarding and street culture is coming to Hong Kong this month courtesy of Vans – and 10 lucky SCMP readers will be attending in a free pair of the US streetwear brand’s shoes.

The grand finale of the House of Vans Asia Tour will be held at Central’s Pier 4  from October 16-18,  after previously touring through Xian, Guangzhou, Beijing and Seoul earlier this year.

Professional skateboarders from Hong Kong and the mainland will be conducting demonstrations on a half-pipe skate ramp built on the roof of Pier 4, urban art collectives Start From Zero  and HK Walls will be hosting creative workshops, artists including Hong Kong’s Bao and Cath Love  will be creating live art, and food will be provided by chefs from acclaimed eateries Yardbird,  Little Bao and 22 Ships.  

However, the events will only fully come alive at night when a range of bands and DJs take to the stage, including US rappers Vince Staples  and Kari Faux,  live acts Gang of Youths (Sydney),  Macbeth  (Taipei)  and LMF  (Hong Kong),  along with DJs including Yeti B  (Shanghai)  and Frankie Lam  (Hong Kong).
