As well as staging a “Fashion Hong Kong” group show, a pop-up showroom was set up for a day to allow the designers to meet potential customers and business partners. More than 260 buyers, journalists and members of the public visited the showroom, which gave designers an opportunity to show the music, movies, paintings, space and nature scenes that inspire their work.
Tokyo Fashion Week is one of several international fashion events held throughout the year at which the Hong Kong Trade Development Council helps local designers to take part.
