If you’re thinking of popping the big question but not sure she’ll like the ring then Hong Kong’s Hatton Studios has the answer. The artisanal jewellery workshop allows the lucky lady to design her own ring under the guidance of Nathalie Melville who trained at Central St Martins and who worked for Tiffany and Shanghai Tang before setting up her bespoke jewellery design company. The Love Letter Proposal is a sterling silver locket in a box, engraved with a message, so you can still get down on one knee and surprise her. The price inclusive of the locket is HK$6,500 and includes three private sessions where clients learn the basics of technical drawing, while producing a blueprint of their perfect ring, which be made by the artisanal jewellers at Hatton Studios.

French Champagne house Veuve Clicquot has come up with a fun way for lovers to share messages. Its Clicq’Call bottle allows the giver to record a voice message, and gift it along with a bottle of Clicquot Rosé. Just press the button and record a short message that will play when the gift is opened. Another quirky gift is the Scream Your Love megaphone chiller. Twist off the lid, speak into the smaller end, and amplify your love. Once sentiments have been said loud and clear, the megaphone can be turned into an ice bucket. Voila.
