Obellery, a contemporary jewellery studio in Central’s PMQ, is paying homage to the city’s traditional postbox by hosting a workshop where people can make their own cute postbox-shaped pendants. Colour my day

Colourliving has co-curated an exhibition – A Stitch in Time – with 3812 gallery to showcase handwoven furniture by Lebanese brand Bokja. Originating from a Turkish word referring to a piece of cloth used to wrap the dowry of a bride, Bokja was founded in 2000 by Lebanese designers Hoda Baroudi and Maria Hibri. Bokja products include sofas, armchairs, poufs and installations. A Stitch in Time runs until August 31.

Centrestage takes fashion centre stage

A new fashion event will be held in September, giving bands the chance for international exposure. Centrestage, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will run from September 7-10 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. “We are positioning Centrestage to be a platform for international, especially Asian, fashion brands and designers to promote their brands and launch collections,” says HKTDC deputy executive director Benjamin Chau. “Fashion brands can leverage the show to reach buyers, particularly select shops, department stores and e-retailers, as well as fashion media and fashion enthusiasts in the region.” It will feature about 200 brands and four themed zones: glam, allure, metro and forward.

Harbour City has invited 37 international fashion brands to contribute to Hong Kong’s BE@RBRICK fashion-art group exhibition, “Style Up BE@RBRICK at Harbour City” , from September 19 to October 16. Harbour City will also launch its Harbour City x BE@RBRICK “Style Up in the Rain” limited-edition umbrella and children’s rain boots between August 22 and September 4, as a pre-launch of the exhibition. To showcase the crossover umbrella as a fashion accessory, Harbour City has invited photographer, Jimmy Ming Shum to take a series of fashion photos.
