Whether you’re looking for a stylish gift or want to indulge in some retail therapy, here are some collections to check out before the new year

With Chinese New Year just around the corner, we’ve put together a list of our favourite new fashion and beauty collaborations to spoil yourself, or your loved ones, with this new year.

Chinti & Parker x Women for Women International

Ahead of International Women’s Day (March 8), knitwear specialist Chinti & Parker has debuted a special range of cashmere jumpers that celebrate women. The collection, which also features a printed T-shirt, comes with a campaign starring model Arizona Muse. All of the profit will go to the charity Women for Women International, which helps women in areas affected by conflict. Available at farfetch.com

Kitsune x NBA

Hip Parisian label Maison Kitsune is teaming up with the NBA for a capsule collection of 15 unisex pieces, all made in Japan. The sporty and street-inspired range features denim jackets, sweatshirts, T-shirts and jerseys, all emblazoned with the logo of the brand and the basketball institution. Available at Maison Kitsune boutiques and online.
A look from the Tommy Hilfiger and Gigi Hadid collection.

Tommy x Gigi collection

Model Gigi Hadid has been collaborating with US juggernaut Tommy Hilfiger for the last three seasons and they’re at it again this spring with a range of all-American preppy looks infused with the model-off-duty vibe. This season, the range, which will launch with an event during Milan Fashion Week, also features athletic elements such as racing gloves and printed leggings. Available at Tommy Hilfiger boutiques and online.

A corduroy outfit from Cos.

Cos corduroy

It didn’t take long for one of last year’s most popular catwalk trends, corduroy, to move from the catwalks of Milan and Paris to the high street. The humble and vintage-looking fabric is at the centre of a special range by Swedish retailer Cos, which stays true to its clean and streamlined aesthetic with a series of corduroy looks in warm tones for him and her. Available at Cos boutiques.

Candles from the Diptyque and Leslie David collection.

Diptyque x Leslie David

Perfumer and beauty maison Diptyque, known for its scented candles, has enlisted the help of French graphic designer Leslie David for its new Rose Delight collection. David has injected a dose of energy and colour into the normally monotone palette of Diptyque products, reinterpreting whimsical Toile de Jouy prints for the packaging of the Turkish-inspired range, which includes a fragrance, lotions and a candle. Available at Diptyque boutiques.
