Covet: Retro summer

If there's one trend to take away from the summer catwalks, it's the 1950s. And for inspiration, look no further than Jackie Onassis vacationing on her yacht on the Italian Riviera. Dolce & Gabbana took us to Sicily with their colourful prints and striped tops and briefs, accessorised with printed headscarves. Alice Temperly was inspired by Sophia Loren and sent out printed full skirts with simple white button blouses. One item you will definitely need to invest in is a cropped top, which appeared on the catwalks of Miu Miu paired with a tight denim skirt.
