Ina Hotpot by Inaguku - robust Chinese-style fare

Handmade beef balls weren't what we expected ... these were ... fluffy, and seasoned with dried tangerine peel.
Neighborhood - comforting French-Italian fare

We couldn't fault the handmade pasta; the tagliolini was eggy and al dente. The sea urchin spaghetti also delighted my Italian guest
Chino - refreshing blend of Mexican and Japanese fare

White fish ceviche with yuzu lime and cashews wasn't cured for long ... but it was bright and refreshing.
Shiba, Kennedy Town - Japanese skewers

We especially liked the miso pork ribs — the .. meat was fatty, rich and slightly sweet ... Shiso minced chicken was soft and moist
Stack, Sai Ying Pun - pancakes

Our favourite savoury dish wasn't a pancake: it was the comforting, homey hash with scraps of duck meat
