What could be better on a hot summer's day than a delicious helping (or two!) of ice cream? Of course, you can buy it in a tub from the supermarket, or have some to round off a meal or as a snack at a restaurant or cafe. But there's nothing more satisfying than making your own at home - and it needn't be at all difficult, as these recipes from senior food and wine editor Susan Jung show.
