Cuisine: Korean

Price: about HK$140 without drinks or the service charge.

Ambience: loud and friendly. The waiters are rather harried, but they’re helpful enough.

Pros: the restaurant boasts that they serve “meat on a hot plate” – and basically, that’s what you get, along with cheese, vegetables and starch. It’s strongly flavoured and goes great with a few drinks.

Cons: the banchan (side dishes) were rather unusual – not only the expected kimchi, but also rigatoni with tomato sauce, and salad with Thousand Island dressing. The noodles in the Korean cold noodles (HK$77) were too hard, and the soup wasn’t cold enough.
