Eating healthily is vital when your job is all about health and fitness. I love Tallore (7-17 Amoy Street, Wan Chai, tel: 2327 8630) – it’s good value for money, with a selection of soups and daily salads, and their protein pots with salad or soup sets are the perfect workout day lunch or dinner.

Nood Food (32 Hollywood Road, Central, tel: 8199 8189) is a must. They serve roast shredded chicken with a selection of salads that includes great vegetarian protein choices such as quinoa, and salads with beets and pumpkin for some good quality carbs. I always order their kale salads. Perfect for a handy lunch and I love the people watching along the escalator.

Pressed for success: detox the juicy way

For my weekly meatless day I head to Fresca (Felicity Building, 54-58 Hollywood Road, Central, tel: 2770 2282) – a cute little cafe along Hollywood Road with great soups and salads for vegetarians.

Pololi (Kar Ho Building, 35-39 Graham Street, Central, tel: 2755 8099) has this Hawaiian ceviche bowl that is one of my favourite quick lunch places. It features a selection of tuna and salmon ceviche with a base of salad and brown rice. Wonderful tastes and packed with great protein. On a sunny day you can grab their little grass squares to sit outside the shop for some vitamin D.

The best breakfast menu, and one that suits everyone’s tastes, is at Wagyu Lounge (Hollywood Commercial House, 3-5 Old Bailey Street, Central, tel: 2522 1438). The best thing about the menu is you can adjust the amount of protein/fibre/fat that you want to have on your plate. My favourite combo is two scrambled eggs, half an avocado, sauteed spinach and a chicken breast with my morning black coffee.

For a naughty treat I head to The Globe (Garley Building, 45-53A Graham Street, Central, tel: 2543 1941) The burger is probably my ultimate treat for the week. They have a great, quality burger patty that is perfectly cooked and never disappoints.

When in Moscow I always try to eat at Saxon+Parole (Spiridonyevskiy Perculok, 12/9, Moscow, Russia, tel: +7 903 755 03 43). They have a small menu but they do an excellent job with every dish they offer. My favourite is their house liver pâté, followed by Denver steak with sauteed cannellini beans and leeks. Don’t forget to try their cocktails.
