Senzuru Japanese restaurant at the Harbour Plaza Metropolis in Hung Hom is featuring Hokkaido sea urchin dishes until the end of June. Sagano restaurant at the New World Millennium in Tsim Sha Tsui is offering a Kyoto Shokado bento set dinner that’s available for HK$800 plus 10 per cent until the end of June. The dishes include grilled kamo egglant with miso paste; deep-fried prawn with green tea salt; and stewed chicken with Kyoto mizuna. Bookings: 2313 4215.
Dong Lai Shun restaurant at the Royal Garden in Tsim Sha Tsui has Chinese tea-smoked dishes on the menu until June 30. Guests can taste dishes such as smoked goose liver with rose tea leaves; smoked vegetarian abalone with jasmine tea leaves; smoked river eel with longjing tea leaves; and vegetable rice with smoked chicken in casserole. The Window Cafe at the Kowloon Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui has a Taste of Edo dinner buffet that’s running until June 30. On the buffet are dishes of tuna tartare with sea urchin; braised abalone in shogayaki sauce with preserved bamboo shoot; inaniwa udon with black truffle in roasted sesame sauce; and beef spare rib tempura with sesame dip.
