Warming dishes at Regal Court, a taste of Germany and Italy, and Jason Licker pops up: Hong Kong menu specials

Regal Court at the Regal Kowloon Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui is featuring warming casserole dishes until the end of December. The à la carte selection includes Sichuan-style braised chicken casserole; boiled rice with assorted preserved meat casserole; braised preserved meat with taro; wok-fried chicken with spicy sauce in stone pot; braised sliced pomelo skin and spare ribs with spring onions; and stir-fried Chinese lettuce with shrimp paste. Greens Café at Harbour Plaza North Point is serving German and Italian dishes on the dinner buffet until the end of the month. Guests can taste dishes of roasted pork knuckle with honey and dark beer; Bavarian style meatballs; lobster pizza; and deep-fried risotto balls stuffed with cheese. The dinner buffet is HK$428 plus 10 per cent (HK$298 for children) Monday to Thursday and HK$448 plus 10 per cent (HK$318 for children) Friday to Sunday and on public holidays. Bookings: 2185 2155.
Pastry chef Jason Licker is doing a pop-up from December 28-30 at Lily & Bloom in Lan Kwai Fong. The three-course dinner is HK$588 plus 10 per cent, with an additional HK$120 if you want dessert and a cocktail pairing. The menu includes a choice for main course of warm lobster mousseline with truffle-braised cabbage, saffron emulsion and oscietra caviar, or pan-roasted pheasant breast with garlic potato espuma; while the desserts include Licker’s Snickers (passion fruit caramel with nougat mousse and peanuts), and molten cinnamon tart with grapefruit segments, coconut tapioca and ginger ice cream. The Salted Pig is taking pork lovers on a tour of the world, and is now featuring pig dishes from Britain. On the menu are dishes of pork and sage sausage rolls; bangers and mash; and crispy roast pork with black pudding, celeriac remoulade and apple purée.
