Carbone takes diners back in time to 1950s-style New York-Italian

The menu is classic New York-Italian with signatures such as veal parmesan and meatball

For a piece of retro New York Italian ambience, circa 1950s, Carbone is the real deal with its black and red chequered floor tiles, white tablecloths, plush leather chairs, brass chandeliers and Frank Sinatra classics playing in the background.

Little extras such as the vintage Tiffany stained glass lamps and a wooden drinks trolley filled with premium rums add a luxury element. The menu is classic New York-Italian with signatures such as veal parmesan and meatballs. Also worth trying is the Caesar salad served tableside, baked clams, lobster ravioli and the prime porterhouse. Decadent desserts to finish include cheese cake and chocolate cake. The wine list features mainly Italian wines.
