On the grill are dishes of kangaroo loin, crocodile fillet, Queensland Stockyard grass-fed beef sirloin and rib-eye, Tasmanian salmon, and Western Australian Wammco free-range lamb. The buffet is available from Friday to Sunday until August 27. It costs HK$628 plus 10 per cent (HK$388 for children) and includes free-flow orange juice and soft drinks. Bookings: 2802 8888

Cucina restaurant at the Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui is featuring Umbrian dishes until September 4. The a la carte selection incudes Italian Fassona beef tartare with organic egg yolk sauce and shaved black truffle; pumpkin risotto with pigeon breast, duck liver and grape must sauce; house-made beef and spinach ravioli with demi-glace and black truffle; and roasted milk-fed suckling pig with apricot jam and cauliflower purée. The Garden Cafe at the City Garden Hotel in North Point is serving beef from Korea, Australia and New Zealand on its dinner buffet until August 27.

Guests can taste New Zealand roast beef; Korean grilled beef with kimchi; and teppanyaki Australian wagyu; as well as other buffet favourites such as Chinese and Western dishes, fresh seafood and desserts.
