Fairphone 3+: a sustainable smartphone with parts that you can swap out and upgrade as you see fit
- Like the Fairphone 3, the Fairphone 3+ has a 5.65-inch FullHD display, and the phone can last for eight hours on a full charge
- Its 48-megapixel camera is a massive improvement on the previous model’s 12-megapixel lens. The results are very good – when there’s enough light

Around 3.5 billion people worldwide own a smartphone and, on average, they use their device for about two-and-a-half years. Then, they get a new one.
Fairphone is against this level of waste, and is selling smartphones with one key goal in mind – sustainability.
The Dutch company, currently selling only in Europe, wants its customers to keep their smartphones for as long as possible, repair them when necessary and replace key components with improved ones as time goes by.
Given this approach, it’s logical that Fairphone has also presented a concept of how its existing customers can benefit from the latest innovations without having to buy the latest model.

While the new Fairphone 3+ is much like its predecessor, the Fairphone 3, the camera modules and audio system have been improved.
