Six ways Hongkongers can support October's breast cancer awareness month
From walking around The Peak to dressing in pink, here are some ways to get involved and show your support for women with breast cancer

October is breast cancer awareness month and there are many ways to get involved and show your support for women with the disease.
The latest Hong Kong Registry statistics show that one in 17 women in Hong Kong has breast cancer, with more than 3,500 new breast cancer cases in 2012, a number which continues to rise. It’s the most common cancer among Hong Kong women, and the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths.
By signing up for an event below or buying special pink products, you will help fund the patient care services provided by organisations such as Hong Kong Cancer Fund (HKCF) and Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation (HKBCF).
