After a quiet October, the K-drama schedule is back on track for November, with a mix of new shows dropping just as cooler weather drives us to the comfort of our sofas.
Read on to find out what to catch over the next month.
1. Last Summer
Lead cast: Lee Jae-wook, Choi Sung-eun


Lee Jae-wook (Alchemy of Stars) plays dual roles in the romantic comedy Last Summer, co-starring with Choi Sung-eun (The Sound of Magic).
Lee plays twins Do-ha and Do-young, who have lived apart ever since their parents’ divorce. Do-ha lives in the United States but comes to visit every summer, staying with his father, and over time getting closer to neighbour Ha-kyung (Choi).
As adults, both brothers work in the field of architecture. (KBS2, November 1)
2. Nice to Not Meet You
Lead cast: Lee Jung-jae, Lim Ji-yeon, Kim Ji-hoon, Seo Ji-hye


Squid Game superstar Lee Jung-jae returns in a Korean romcom, alongside Lim Ji-yeon (The Tale of Lady Ok).
Lee plays actor Lim Hyung-joon, who is beloved for his detective roles but longs to appear in a melodrama. Lim plays Wi Jung-sook, a hard-nosed political reporter who is demoted to the entertainment desk after a scandal.
Following an awkward run-in, the pair start to get to know each other. (tvN/Prime Video, November 3)
3. The Manipulated
Lead cast: Ji Chang-wook, Doh Kyung-soo, Lee Kwang-soo


Following The Worst of Evil and Gangnam B-Side, Ji Chang-wook teams up with Disney+ for another autumn thriller, reprising his role from the film Fabricated City in the drama remake The Manipulated.
In this high-octane action-thriller, Ji is Tae-joong, a man wrongfully accused of a crime and sent to prison. Upon learning that his downfall was orchestrated by Yo-han (played by Doh Kyung-soo of K-pop band EXO), he sets out to get his revenge. (Disney+, November 5)
4. Dear X
Lead cast: Kim Yoo-jung, Kim Young-dae


My Demon star Kim Yoo-jung is up to no good as the manipulative Baek A-jin, a young woman who grew up in a broken home.
Among the people she twists around her little finger are classmates Yoon Joon-seo (Kim Young-dae, No Gain No Love) and Kim Jae-o (Kim Do-hoon, Moving).
Following a recent deal made between South Korean entertainment company CJ ENM and Warner Bros, Dear X will be the first TVing title to be made available on HBO Max Asia. Dear X first screened at the Busan International Film Festival. (TVing/HBO Max, November 6)
5. As You Stood By
Lead cast: Jeon So-nee, Lee Yoo-mi, Jang Seung-jo, Lee Mu-saeng


This female-driven thriller stars Jeon So-nee (Melo Movie) and Lee Yoo-mi (All of Us Are Dead) as women whose lives are wracked by domestic violence.
Jeon is a luxury department store clerk, Eun-soo, who comes to the aid of her friend Hee-soo (Lee), who has been struggling to escape her abusive husband’s clutches. A violent solution ensues, but it is only the beginning of their problems.
Based on a Japanese novel, As You Stood By also premiered in Busan. (Netflix, November 7)
6. Moon River
Lead cast: Kang Tae-oh, Kim Se-jeong


In the Joseon era drama Moon River, Kang Tae-oh (Extraordinary Attorney Woo) plays Crown Prince Yi Kang. He is tough on the outside but secretly mourns the loss of a loved one while secretly plotting revenge.
The Uncanny Counter star Kim Se-jeong appears as plucky street peddler Park Dal-yi, who has a knack for selling her wares. One day, Dal-yi and the prince cross paths and magically switch souls.
Moon River was originally scheduled to launch in late October. (MBC/Viu, November 7)
7. There’s No Next Life
Lead cast: Kim Hee-seon, Han Hye-jin, Jin Seo-yeon


Kim Hee-seon (Remarriage and Desires), Han Hye-jin (Divorce Attorney Shin) and Jin Seo-yeon (One the Woman) appear as three friends in their early forties, each struggling with imbalances in their personal and professional lives.
Na-jeong (Kim) is a former home shopping host looking to make a comeback, Ju-young (Han) strives to conceive with her asexual husband, and career woman Il-li (Jin) dreams of a family life. (TV Chosun, November 10)
8. Dynamite Kiss
Lead cast: Ahn Eun-jin, Jang Ki-yong


Jang Ki-yong (The Atypical Family) and Ahn Eun-jin (Hospital Playlist) team up for the romcom Dynamite Kiss.
Jang plays Kong Ji-hyeok, a dashing team leader at a baby products company. One day, his subordinate Ko Da-rim (Ahn) impulsively kisses him, which puts him in an awkward position, since she is married.
What he does not realise is that Da-rim is actually single, having claimed to be married with a child to land her current job. (SBS, November 12)
9. The 4th Love Revolution
Lead cast: Kim Yo-han, Hwang Bo-reum-byeol, Kim Sung-ryoung


In this college-set comedy, an unusual merger combines the departments of computer engineering and modelling on a university campus.
Kim Yo-han (The Winning Try) plays the very popular budding model Kang Min-hak, while Hwang Bo-reum-byeol (Maestra: Strings of Truth) is the top student in the computer engineering department.
The pair quickly clash, but their frustrated emotions morph into something new before long. (Wavve, November 13)
10. Heroes Next Door
Lead cast: Yoon Kye-sang, Jin Seon-kyu, Kim Ji-hyun


Yoon Kye-sang (The Frog) and Jin Seon-kyu (Aema) lead the neighbourhood action-comedy Heroes Next Door.
Yoon is Choi Kang, a former special forces member now working as an insurance investigator, while Jin plays Kwak Byeong-nam, a counterterrorism expert now leading the local youth association.
Together with a motley crew of other neighbours, they band together to protect their neighbourhood and their families. (ENA, November 17)
11. Taxi Driver season 3
Lead cast: Lee Je-hoon, Pyo Ye-jin, Kim Eui-sung, Jang Hyuk-jin, Bae Yoo-ram


The Rainbow Taxi crew are back for another round of vigilante shenanigans in the third season of the hit action-thriller Taxi Driver.
Lee Je-hoon once again leads the crew as they tackle new foes in Japan, following a detour to Vietnam in season 2, in what promises to be the most high-octane entry in the series yet.
Edan Lui Cheuk-on of the Hong Kong boy band Mirror will make his K-drama debut as an Interpol inspector. (SBS/Viu, November 21)
