Love appears to be in the air this week in the K-drama industry, with a spate of casting announcements for coming romance series making the rounds.

Wed Thu Fri

In what would be her first role following her marriage to Kim Woo-bin in December, Shin Min-a (Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha) is considering an offer for the drama Wed Thu Fri. Reports indicate that Lee Jin-wook has also been offered a part, though his agency has not yet confirmed.

The title of the show refers to a restaurant open only on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The story concerns the romance that blooms between a chef and a woman connected to the eatery.

Shin was recently seen in the romcom No Gain No Love and the Netflix thriller Karma. She will appear in the fantasy romance The Remarried Empress with Ju Ji-hoon and Lee Min-ho later this year.

Lee is coming off a busy 2025, having appeared in the dramas Squid Game 3 and Beyond the Bar, as well as the occult film Dark Nuns and the big-screen romance Seven O’Clock Breakfast Club for the Brokenhearted, which is awaiting a cinema release following its Busan International Film Festival premiere in October.
