It’s been two years since K-pop outfit Cherry Bullet made their debut with their first single Q&A, and since then the vivacious girl group have released a string of bubbly, addictive tunes in the lead-up to their first mini album, “Cherry Rush”, which arrived on January 20.

Throughout their time together, the now seven-member girl group have had their ups and downs, with three members leaving and their singles not always resonating with South Korean audiences.

But it’s perhaps just a matter of time until they score a verified hit – they prove their worth on new single Love So Sweet, a saccharine and revitalising tune that is refreshing after a tough 2020.

“Cherry Rush” is your first mini album after many singles – how do you feel about that?

Bora: it’s very nice and we feel so happy. We were able to put five very different tracks into this album, which show the diversity of our vocals.
