K-pop boy band Nu’Est announce split, but members Baekho and Minhyun to renew contracts with label Pledis Entertainment

• The quintet’s contract with Pledis will expire on March 14; of the five members, only Baekho and Minhyun will renew their contracts with the music label
• JR, Aron and Ren will move on to different stages of their career, but the group will release a final album in March
