Time travel, mystery and the occult are all on the docket for June 2023, a month that will present a particularly eclectic K-drama schedule.

Here is a preview of our eight top K-dramas debuting next month.

1. Bloodhounds

Woo Do-hwan raises his fists for the coming Netflix crime drama Bloodhounds, a tale of street-smart brawlers tangoing with dangerous moneylenders, based on the webtoon “Hunting Dogs”.

The drama debut of Jason Kim, the director of Midnight Runners, Bloodhounds also stars Lee Sang-yi (Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha) and Kim Sae-ron (Secret Healer).

Woo plays Gun-woo, a promising boxer who is forced to put his career aside because of his mother’s debt to the vicious loan shark Myung-gil (Park Sung-woong, Snowdrop). He puts his fists to work by working for CEO Choi (Heo Jun-ho, Kingdom), alongside Woo-jin (Lee Sang-yi) and Hyun-joo (Kim Sae-ron). (Netflix, June 9)

2. See You in My 19th Life

In this fantasy drama, Mr. Queen star Shin Hye-sun plays Ban Ji-eum, a woman with the ability to recall her past lives.
