Netflix K-drama midseason recap: Frankly Speaking – Go Kyung-pyo, Kang Han-na struggle through confused fantasy comedy

  • Go Kyung-pyo’s character can’t help but speak his mind, which seems like fertile ground for comedy, but the conceit is poorly deployed and the show lacks humour
  • Characters either fall by the wayside or add little to the story, and a lack of chemistry between the two leads makes it hard to care about this romantic comedy
