K-pop stars Kang Daniel and Jihyo of girl group Twice are going their separate ways after reportedly being too busy to maintain their relationship.

South Korean media outlet Dispatch revealed today that the couple had broken up as they’re “too busy for love”. Later, both Twice’s management company JYP Entertainment and Konnect Entertainment, Kang’s agency, confirmed the split.

Both stars are 23 years old.

Twice is one of the most popular K-pop girl groups with a sizeable global audience, and Kang, who was formerly a member of Wanna One, is a prominent soloist in the industry.

The pair’s relationship became public knowledge in August 2019 when photos of them together were publicised, also by Dispatch.
