Made in Hong Kong: Blur film about recording of album The Magic Whip is out

Brit-pop band Blur have released a 30-minute film about the making of their new album, The Magic Whip, in Hong Kong.

The 30-minute film, titled The Magic Whip: Made in Hong Kong, shows the band during the recording process in Kowloon’s Avon Studios in June 2013, and also features footage of the four band members travelling around the city.

The Magic Whip – Blur’s first album in 12 years – was finally released on April 27, and contains extensive references to Hong Kong and its landmarks in its lyrics.
