Pacha nightlife empire reaches China with launch of Macau nightclub

Pacha, the international nightclub franchise headquartered in Ibiza, Spain, celebrated the opening of its new Macau nightspot at the Studio City resort at the weekend.

Colombian-American house music DJ and producer Erick Morillo was the headline performer at the grand opening of the club, which is now the largest nightclub in Macau with a capacity of 3,000.

The first Pacha club opened in Sitges outside Barcelona, Spain, in 1967 and the second in Ibiza in 1973. The Pacha franchise has since expanded to other cities including New York, Rio de Janeiro, London, Moscow, Sydney, Buenos Aires and Munich.
