Where can you buy a decent pen these days? An archaic question, perhaps, in this digital age, but if you are a little old-fashioned, Chung Nam Book & Stationery is your answer.

In business since 1973, the Hong Kong-style store occupied premises in Sai Yeung Choi Street, Mong Kok, until it relocated to its current address in Nathan Road (near Yau Ma Tei MTR station Exit C) a couple of years ago.

It offers a wide range of pens, from biros for students to international brands such as Montblanc and DuPont, all at reasonably good prices.

Also on sale is an array of Frixion Ball pens (ultra-popular, and with erasable ink, that you could only buy in Japan previously) in different colours for about HK$20 each, depending on tip size.
