A spicy adventure awaits diners at Dong Lai Shun, offering excellent Beijing and Huaiyang cuisines. The décor is contemporary with traditional Chinese elements, such as a marble water fountain, red walls and modern lantern lights.

A must-try dish is the Peking duck, which is deliciously tender with the crispy skin wrapped in thin steamed pancakes. The bones make a flavourful soup.

Other chef recommendations include drunken boneless chicken with jelly fish tossed with scallion, crispy eel in honey, Tientsin cabbage soup with fish maw and sliced abalone with sea cucumber, chicken and air-dried duck brisket. For dessert, try the chilled lychee with rose pudding.
