Price: about HK$360 for a two-course meal without drinks. There is no service charge.
Ambience: diners enter on the 30th floor, through the bar area, and are led downstairs to the dining room. It's casual, and comfortable.
Recommended dishes: burrata with 24-month aged Parma ham (HK$180) was good owing to the quality of the ingredients. The burrata was soft and moist, and the ham, cut into fine pieces, added complexity and saltiness. Tagliatelle with Sicilian red prawns and zucchini (HK$210) had tender but not mushy house-made pasta, and the sauce was creamy.

Pros: the servers were friendly and helpful, although they did interrupt our conversation a few times. We had no expectations about the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the meal. Most of the pasta dishes (other than the one we ordered) are available in full- or half-portions.
Cons: the flank steak tagliata, served with rocket and cherry tomatoes (HK$330), was moist, tender and had great flavour, but it was cooked unevenly — half of it was well-done, while the rest was our requested medium-rare.
What else? Pirata is in the same building as Zahrabel.
