The interior of (tel: 2408 6000) may not look Korean, but the food definitely is. This spot off D'Aguilar Street is less a restaurant and more a bar, offering dishes to complement the HK$130 Korean-themed cocktails and HK$80 glasses of wine.

The outlet is still in its soft-opening phase and it took some time for our food to arrive. Unfortunately, it started badly: the fried chicken with four sauces (HK$220) was disappointing - there were only a few pieces of thickly coated chicken. The sauces of cream cheese, honey mustard, soy and sweet and sour were unimaginative.

Next came the flying nachos (HK$140), consisting of under-seasoned tortilla chips which came with kimchi, tomato and bulgogi. It was topped with a measly sprinkling of grated cheese. We ended up using our chopsticks to eat it.

But things got better with the Hanjan octopus (HK$200, above), which had three chillies next to it on the menu. It had a good flavour, was quite spicy, and came with sautéed onions and peppers.

The best dish was the Seoul bulgogi (HK$198) - stir-fried beef with a tasty and refreshing selection of lettuce leaves.
