Tao Li at the New World Millennium in Tsim Sha Tsui is serving Chiu Chow dishes until the end of the month. The à la carte selection includes marinated goose slices with squid; chilled fresh spotted crab (above); pan-fried fresh shrimp with smooth luffa, Chinese celery and egg; simmered rice with baby oysters; and simmered leather jack fish with fish maw, turnip and Chinese celery. Dynasty Chinese Restaurant at the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel in Wan Chai offers an eight-course dinner paired with Moët & Chandon champagne until the end of June. The dinner is HK$1,580 plus 10 per cent and includes pan-fried grouper fillet with vegetables with Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2006; pan-fried duck liver with steamed vegetables and truffle dumplings with the 1999 vintage; and oxtail braised with turnip in imperial sauce with the 1985 vintage.
