A rare Hong Kong sushi bar that strikes happy medium

Satisfying your passion for raw fish usually means paying a whole lot or sacrificing quality. You'll do neither at this Wan Chai restaurant

Hong Kong sushi joints tend to be either very good but very expensive, or cheap but taste like it came straight out of Wellcome's pre-made sushi boxes. Yummy Sushi in Wan Chai, however, is that rare happy medium. It's definitely affordable — you and a friend can fill up with generously cut sashimi and still pay less than HK$200 each — but there's no hit in quality. The place also has an indie vibe, as it's literally a hole in the wall. You either perch at the two-metre-long bar, or sit at a table on the footpath dai pai dong-style. It's on a quiet street too, so don't worry about sucking up exhaust fumes.
